Professionally,
I am currently working at Leopold Wilson & Company (and attending school at the same time). From the name of the company, you might get the feeling that I have something to do with the founding of the company (since my name is Leopold Wilson). I (c0-)founded the company after the failure of my first company, Lennox Worldwide. LW & Co. is a management consulting company. It doesn’t generate a huge profit right now, but I am hoping one day, it will be a respectful competitor in the management consulting market.
Lennox Worldwide Inc. is (or was) a brand-management company I co-founded with my college roommate. We’ve tried many different ideas, but eventually failed because of the lack of experience and limited resources. However, the experience is invaluable.
Prior to my entrepreneurial passion, I dreamed of working for an investment bank. Merrill Lynch to be more exact. That was when investment bankers were still the richest people in the world and not public enemies. During that time, I learned about investment and did a little investment myself. (I still follow the financial news extensively. Microsoft, MSFT, is the stock to buy!.)
I also worked for many different places. I once worked for an attorney as paralegal, a NYC Congressman, a real-estate broker, a retail store, and even a laundry shop.
